SATISFACTION GUARANTEED

GingerLead wants the best for you and your dog.  If for any reason the GingerLead is not the right product for you or your dog, return it within 10 days of receiving your order and we will refund you the purchase price less any shipping and handling charges.  In order to receive your refund, all components must be returned undamaged (we do not consider hair or if it's a little soiled as damage).  All authorized returns postmarked after 10 days are subject to a restocking fee.  [Return Home]

RETURNS

GingerLead takes pride in delivering quality products.  Any GingerLead products with a material defect (in materials or workmanship) will be replaced for free.  Additionally, if your GingerLead product does not fit your pet properly, we will replace it or refund the purchase price.  All returns must be in good condition and postmarked within 10 days of receiving the product.

Refunds/exchanges do not include shipping and handling costs unless the item being returned is due to our error (wrong item sent, defective, etc.).  Restocking fees may apply.

When returning a GingerLead product, any applicable credit will be applied to your original form of payment. 

For your protection, we encourage you to send your return item prepaid via USPS Priority Mail with a tracking number.  We do not accept COD.  Please save your shipping receipt and tracking information for proof of return delivery.  We are not responsible for return packages that are lost or damaged by the return shipping company. 

We regret that customized items cannot be exchanged or returned.

WARRANTY / DISCLAIMER

GingerLead harnesses were created to provide support and control of your pet in certain situations such as during rehabilitation after certain surgeries or when a pet has an injury or ailment impacting use of the back legs.  GingerLead harnesses should be used as recommended and instructed by your veterinary professional as well as your personal physician.  Your physician's instructions are to be followed to protect your safety as the human handler, particularly if there is any question about whether supporting a dog with a GingerLead is safe for you.

GingerLead warrants that its harnesses will be free from material defects in components and workmanship for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of purchase.  This warranty does not extend to damages caused by your pet or misuse of any GingerLead product.

EXCEPT FOR THE FOREGOING EXPRESS WARRANTY, GINGERLEAD LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES AND AGENTS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES (WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE), INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.  THIS DISCLAIMER SHALL BE APPLIED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Use of GingerLead products is at the sole risk of the user.  GINGERLEAD LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO ANY USER OR ANY PARTY CLAIMNG THROUGH ANY USER FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, HOWEVER CAUSED AND REGARDLESS OF THE TYPE OF CLAIM OR THE NATURE OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.  In the event of breach of warranty or damages actually caused by GingerLead products in accordance with manufacturer’s and veterinary professional’s instructions, the sole and maximum liability of GingerLead, LLC and any distributor in connection with GingerLead products shall be the replacement of the product or, at the election of GingerLead, refund of the purchase price.

PRIVACY

GingerLead will never sell or distribute your personal information to a third party without your prior authorization.  If you indicate that you would like to receive notifications about GingerLead, we may use the information we collect to periodically contact you about GingerLead developments that we think might be of interest to you.  If at any time you would like us to remove you from our notification list, please let us know by sending us an email through the “Contact Us” page at www.gingerlead.com or writing to us at P.O. Our site does utilize cookies that collect anonymous traffic data.  No personally identifiable information is stored or used by GingerLead cookies.

EMAIL NOTIFICATION

Email is not generally a secure form of communication, and can be intercepted as it travels across the Internet.  DO NOT send sensitive information such as credit card numbers via email.  This includes messages that are transmitted to GingerLead through our “Contact Us” page (those messages are conveyed via email).

SHIPPING

We currently ship to United States, Canada and other select countries.  For shipping rates to countries not listed, please contact us.  Delivery option restrictions by location apply.  Shipping options for Internet orders (including expedited shipping options) and rates are calculated during checkout.

Your credit card will be billed when we ship your order.  Typically items will be shipped the same business day if an order is placed by 5PM EST.  Orders may not be cancelled once shipped.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. How do I determine what size works for my dog?

A. The width of our padded sling is the primary difference between the large and small size.  The large generally fits medium to extra large dogs over 45 lbs.  The small generally fits smaller dogs under 45 lbs.

  FEMALE   The width of the LARGE female GingerLead is 7.5 inches, measured from your dog's back legs forward along her abdomen (see photo).  If the large is too wide for your dog, and your dog's abdomen exceeds 4 inches, order the SMALL harness.  The sling with straps adjusts up to 60 inches in length for giant breed dogs (around a large body) or shorter dogs (pad lower to the ground).

  MALE   The width of the LARGE male GingerLead is 5.5 inches in the center of the cutout, measured from your dog's genitals forward along his abdomen (see photo).   If the large is too wide for your dog, and your dog's abdomen exceeds 3.5 inches, order the SMALL harness.  The sling with straps adjusts up to 60 inches in length for giant breed dogs (around a large body) or shorter dogs (pad lower to the ground).

Q. Is GingerLead used by veterinarians?

 
A. Yes. We initially worked with Ginger’s surgeon and his staff to test the GingerLead dog support harness. Currently veterinarians across the United States and Canada use GingerLeads in their offices and recommend them to pet owners.

Q. Is GingerLead washable?

A. Yes. The GingerLead can be hand or machine washed and air or machine dried. We recommend disconnecting the leash strap (it has a plastic fastener near the handle that disconnects like many dog collars) and closing the handle so the Velcro hook and loop parts connect. We do not recommend the use of bleach or harsh detergents.  Tumble dry low or air dry by hanging the GingerLead from one end or laying the GingerLead flat (either option has support pad fully extended).  Machine drying may cause some shrinkage.
